#Cheftalk: La Vinoteca
Vinoteca's Chef de Cuisine, Chef Aleix Caparros Font has come all the way from Barcelona Spain on a mission to introduce tapas to Bahrain— the authentic Spanish way. Chef font has been working his magic in the restaurant industry for almost twenty years. He started his career in his hometown, Barcelona, gaining unparalleled experience at five fine-dining restaurants, two of which ranked Michelin Star. As a part of Eat's April #Cheftalk series, we went behind the scenes into Chef Caparros Font's kitchen, to dish out the juicy details.

For starters, we asked Chef Font what his signature ingredient is. What is it that takes his dishes further? His answer, quick and to the point: Paprika! Paprika is the most important ingredient in every Spanish dish, Chef Font uses it to bring out the taste of Spain in his dishes.
His passion for tapas is clear and unmistakable so we asked him who his idol was and of course, it was none other than Chef Ferran Adria, one of the World most famous Spanish Chefs just so happened to be featured in one of your favourite Disney cartoons. You guessed it, Ratouille!
Lastly, with so much enthusiasm, we naturally wanted to know where the Chef Caparros Font dines himself, he loves Japanese, and Akiko happens to be one of his favourite. We could tell, the time has come for us to leave, it's lunch time and the kitchen is heating up. We're looking forward to dine at Vinoteca knowing more about the Chef, his background, and his passion for tapas.
