Primavera's new Michelin-inspired Menu!

Today we're talking about one of the top places to enjoy some modern Italian cuisine! The Ritz Carlton Bahrain's Primavera, nicknamed Little Italy among the island's fine-dining crowd and offering a quintessential Trattoria Moderna experience, just launched their new menu, redesigned by two Michelin starred chef Oliver Glowig. As one of the few restaurants in Bahrain to boast a two-starred Michelin Chef to oversee their menu, the Ritz Carlton's contemporary Italian eatery Primavera has a reputation as one of the island's prime fine-dining spots.

Overlooking the picturesque Arabian Gulf, this restaurant is about as Italian as you can get; custom-made Solimene crockery, marble tables, beef bresaola, parmesan cheese and the heady scent of rosemary are just some of the things that make Primavera so great!

The venue is a beautiful and sophisticated affair decked out in a contemporary décor and romantic lighting, as well as featuring a unique open kitchen. We love the small touches here; basil pots on the tables, the 'buona sera' greeting on arrival and some fantastic Italian art on the walls. A good number of the staff are from Italy and the service is faultless, meaning you can get some serious insight into the various dishes on the menu without worrying about how accurate the advice is!

The cuisine tends to be grounded in traditional dishes, but given a modern take, all using the freshest of ingredients and sourced locally wherever possible. Many of the speciality products are made on site, including the handmade ricotta served alongside the crudités. Tagliatelle ai Frutti di Mare, wood oven pizzas, homemade pastas, traditional rich and creamy Tiramisu and more are just some of the items we love on the whirlwind tour of Italian cuisine on offer.
