Hold off on those Friday day-time plans; Marina Social's brunch is where you need to be. This eatery has been making some serious noise amongst the Emirate's foodies, and rightly so. Their take on a traditional Dubai brunch is not the usual overcrowded event that we're used to coming across, but a food and quality focused affair that is both refreshing and extremely enjoyable in our book!

Here's how it works; each person in your group chooses one item across each course from the tailored menu, featuring five starters, six mains and three dessert options. Then your choices are brought out together for the table to share! The food is done in Marina Social's usual brilliance of taking classical dishes are re-doing them to meet Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton's extremely high culinary standards. Don't let the unpretentious and simple names fool you! The shepherd’s pie, fish and chips, and apple pie served with custard are all delicious.
Some of the great options available last time we were here were smoked sea trout, celeriac and apple remoulade, and one of the nicest pizzas we've tasted; a sourdough base with pulled lamb, basil pesto, chargrille courgettes and buffalo ricotta. Need some help choosing? The beef tartare is a real treat; hand-chopped chunks of high quality meat cuts are dressed in balsamic vinegar and served on top of pickled cabbage.
The Share & Social brunch happens every Friday from 12.30pm to 3.30pm and there's a flexible price structure, providing something for everything. If you're more about the food than the drink then the AED315 option is served with soft drinks, while if you're after something with a bit more of a kick try out their AED495 package that comes with house beverages, or the AED595 for the champagne option! If you do go with an alcohol package then keep an eye out for the drinks trolley, where you can get a Bloody Mary, Bellini, or Grown Up Ice Tea. Happy dining!
